Yes, you will receive a certificate of attendance via e-mail.

What is the language of the congress? Will there be simultaneous translation?

The congress will be in English. Unfortunately there will be no translation.

Is there any theme of the congress/ what will sessions be about?

Our congress has no theme but the 4 sessions are about Covid-19, Immunology, Clinical Sciences, Surgical Sciences and Innovation.

Who can attend the congress?

Accepted Answer

All student and new graduates who study healthcare can take place as passive participant.
All students who study healthcare can take place as active participant.

What do I need to do to attend the congress?

Here is how to register:
as passive participant:
1. Fill in the “passive participation” form .
2. You will get a confirmation e-mail from us, regarding where to pay the fee and send your vaccination card/proof of vaccination.
3. Since you paid, you will get a confirmation mail for certain registration.
as active Participant:
1.Fill in the “active participation” form .
2. You will receive an e-mail of confirmation, regarding where to send the abstract of your Research/case report and vaccination card/proof of vaccination.
3. If your abstract is accepted, we are going to contact you.

How much is the congress fee?

Congress fees for each package are as follows:
Package 1: only the scientific programme: 15€ (80₺)
Package 2: Scientific programme AND the Gala Dinner 40€ (230₺)
Package 3: Scientific programme AND the Boat Party 35€ (200₺)
FULL Package: Scientific programme AND the Gala Dinner AND the Boat Party 60€ (350₺)

Question 8

I found out that I am not able to come. Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but according to our refund policy you will receive a refund of only 90%. Furthermore, the participants who applied and paid the fees, may get a refund until the 1st of April, 2022. The 27th IMSSC has every right to make changes in this policy.

I sent the form but I have not received an e-mail. What should I do?

What is active participation?

Accepted Answer

Active participants are going to present their original researches or case reports at the congress. There are two types of presentation as oral presentation and poster presentation. The best presentations will be awarded. Students who will take part in our congress as active participants need to send their original research or case report abstracts to us. What kind of presentations can be made by active participants ?

There are two categories of presentation: Oral presentation and Poster presentation.

What is passive participation?

Passive participants are going to join each session, workshops, and social events if they're registered to the packages with social events. They will be the audience at the congress hall in İstanbul.

Is a vaccination card/proof of vaccination obligatory to participate at the congress?

Yes, it is obligatory to prove your vaccination status before participating in the congress.

What is included in the Scientific Programme?

The Scientific programme will include the following 4 sessions, which consist of presentations given by professors and medical students:
14th of May, Saturday
• Covid - 19 Session  • Immunology Session
15th of May, Sunday
• Clinical Sciences Session  • Surgical Sciences and Innovation Session

What is included in the Social Programme?

How will the workshop selections be made?

After the registration and payment, we will be sending you e-mails for your workshop selection. Since we are waiting your registration, these e-mails will be received later.
